Tuscarora High School Celebrates the Class of 2012

Two hundred and thirty students received diplomas on Tuesday, June 12

presented diplomas to 230 students on Tuesday morning in the high school's gymnasium. 

The ceremony started with prelude music and the "Pomp and Circumstance" processional performed by the Tuscarora High School band.  Senior class members of the Tuscarora Choral Program then sang the National Anthem.

There were several speakers including Pamela Paul-Jacobs, principal, and Ned Waterhouse, Deputy Superintendent of Schools.  The Senior Address was given by James Cassar. The Commencement address was given by Rick "Doc" Walker, a former tight-end for the Washington Redskins.

Seniors then received their diplomas and left the gym to the music of the high school band. An all-night graduation party for Tuscarora's graduates was held at Ida Lee Tuesday evening.
