Flower & Garden Festival Starts Saturday in Leesburg

Garden displays galore, along with kids events, wine and beer garden, live music and more.

Downtown Fredericksburg is dusting off the flower pots and digging out those garden tools for the 24th Annual Flower & Garden Festival this weekend.

Events in the downtown district run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. There is a $3 suggested donation.

There will be over 120 vendors with displays on landscape designs, gardening supplies, outdoor living items, plants, flowers, herbs and more.

The event will include a presentation from The Fabulous Beekman Boys. Their “Living an Heirloom Life” presentation presentation at 2 p.m. Sunday will highlight the efforts involved in heirloom gardening, eating seasonally, and the value behind both. The Beekman Boys’ presentation will be free to all festival guests, but seating will be limited and early arrival is suggested.

There's more than plant talk, too. Visitors can enjoy live entertainment, vendors, kids activities, local beer and wine offerings and more.

See complete details at the Flower & Garden Festival website.

Leesburg Today also has a special section with several features on F&G Festival activities.
