At Patch, we don’t take shortcuts. That’s why we hire professional
editors and contributors in each of our towns and personally visit
every business in our Directory at least once a year.
Despite our best efforts, sometimes a personal visit is not possible
— a business might be run out of a home or the owner may be too busy.
In this case, we list the business on Patch with as much information as
we have. And because we believe in full disclosure, we include our
verification disclaimer.
We are always looking for feedback on our listings and the verification
process, so if you see incorrect information or have an opinion, please
send us your thoughts. If you are the owner or manager of a business or
organization, you can claim a listing and help determine what
information is displayed on Patch.
Dr. Adler is a Nephrologist
I was a caregiver 2 years to an elderly man with Kidney disease (Stage 3 )that was a patient of Dr. Adler's.
My client remained at stage 3 renal from the time I started with him, until a couple of weeks before his passing. This was due to the knowledge, skill, constant monitoring & care he received from Dr. Adler. His creatine levels were never allowed to rise much above that stage. Dr. Adler also constantly monitored the meds and care given by my clients other doctors. He helped us avoid potential disasters more than once. We could email or call Dr. Adler anytime, about anything.
Anyone with or caring for a patient with kidney disease is aware of the balancing act it takes to keep creatine levels in a safe range and from progressing to the next level. EVERYTHING you eat or take affects these levels.
Dr. Adler's advise and guidance in my opinion are the main reason my client did so well for as long as he did. Meds my client had to take for other health issues (COPD, CHF, among others) severely affected his kidneys and Dr. Adler had the knowledge of determining which meds could or could not be taken safely and would converse with these other doctors to find safer alternatives when necessary.
If you or a loved one find yourself in need of a Nephrologist and are fortunate enough to find Dr. Adler, consider yourself blessed indeed. I will always be in awe of him as a doctor and compassionate man.
