The unofficial start to summer is just a few days away and the first thing I think about is jumping into a pool with my kids. Memorial Day weekend is normally the first day of the "swimming season" in a number of neighborhoods throughout the US and it plays a huge role in making summer fun. It's important, however, to make sure that everyone stays safe, especially your kids, when it comes to swimming in pools, lakes or other other bodies of water.
