LCSO Plans Meeting about Burglaries Targeting Gold
A recent crime spree appears to be targeting jewelry in homes across a swath of Loudoun from Lansdowne to South Riding.
Gold appears to be the target of a rash of burglaries across eastern Loudoun, according to investigators with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, and the agency has planned a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, March 4, in South Riding to provide discuss crime prevention and the possibility of establishing a Neighborhood Watch program. Since December, seven burglaries appear to be connected, according to an LCSO press release. In most cases, the suspect or suspects entered through a rear door or window while the residents were away. The meeting will take place in the Liberty Elementary School library, 25491 South Riding Center Drive, in South Riding.
