Angeethi Indian Cuisine
Leesburg didn't have an Indian restaurant when I was growing up here, but I'm glad they do now.
As a semi-recent convert to Indian food, I love convincing people who are wary to give it a shot. Angeethi, at 17 Cacotctin Circle, with its variety and mild options, is a great place to go with someone who may be unsure about trying Indian food. The best part is, if they don't like it, there's still a fully stocked bar, so they can drink their problems away. I first discovered Angeethi before I moved back to the area. My father loved the place, so he took the entire family out to dinner one night while I was visiting. They sat us at a large round table that had a lazy Susan in the middle, so we were able to eat family style, with everyone sampling a little bit of what we each got. They do carryout, too. We order about once a week. it's amazing. I had a colleague visiting from India who helped us try new things at Angeethi. He thought it was good food, too. That says a lot!! more ›
