Three Arrested in 'Smash and Grab' at Dulles Town Center

LCSO reports suspects in larceny at Fink's Jewelry store apprehended near Leesburg.

Three men were charged Thursday after allegedly using a "smash and grab" technique to break a glass case in a jewelry store in Dulles Town Center and take more than $100,000 in merchandise. Deandre T. Magee, 22, of Hagerstown, Md., was charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. He is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. The other two suspects, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old from Michigan, were charged with grand larceny, conspiracy to commit larceny and destruction of property. The pair remains at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center. Walmart Thefts Lead to Investigation

The Leesburg Police are asking for the local communities help in solving two crimes, which took place at the retail store on March 11.

The Leesburg Police Department is looking for information related to two larcenies that occurred at the Leesburg Wal-Mart on March 11.  The first incident occurred at approximately 1:14 p.m. after someone had taken approximately $1,800 worth of video games and software. The suspect then hid them in a duffel bag and under his clothes. The suspect left the store with an unknown amount of merchandise concealed on his person while leaving the duffel bag in the store.   He is described as a black male in his late 20’s to early 30’s with short black hair.
