New Sketch of Home Invasion Suspect in Loudoun

A previous sketch was updated as well as investigators continue to seek leads about the reported April 16 incident.

Investigators have released a composite sketch for a second suspect in the reported April 16 home invasion and robbery of a Taylorstown family in Loudoun. The new sketch along with a previous sketch that has been updated provides the public with images of two of four suspects. The sketches show two white men; the other two suspects are black. All were believed to be driving a gold or tan SUV, possibly a 2003 Nissan Murano. The suspect in the new composite sketch is described as 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall, weighing 170s pounds, in his mid-20s and having strawberry blonde hair. Loudoun Home Invasion Sketch, Descriptions Released

Investigators continue to seek information about the suspects in the case, which occurred in Taylorstown.

Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office detectives on Thursday released a composite sketch one suspect involved in Tuesday’s reported home invasion robbery in the area of Taylorstown, which is north of Leesburg. Investigators have released descriptions of all four suspects as well as the vehicle they drove, a gold or tan Nissan SUV, possibly a 2003 Nissan Murano, or some similar vehicle. LCSO deputies responded to a home on the 13400 block of Loyalty Road around 11:30 a.m. April 16 someone from the five-member family contacted authorities. The family, which includes two small children, told investigators that an unknown male knocked on the door with a delivery, and then forced his way into the home with three other unknown men. Reston Man Arrested in Sterling Bank Robbery

Fairfax County Police worked with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office to arrest a Reston man Monday for his alleged involvement in the February robbery of the Bank of America in the Regal Plaza in the Countryside area, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said. Investigators believe Tevin D. Morris, 21, of Reston, is the man alleged who entered the bank shortly after 11 a.m. on Feb. 14 and handed the teller a note implying he had a weapon. The note demanded cash and the suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.   Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said they were able to identify the suspect with the assistance of several tips from the public. Sterling Bank of America Robbed

LCSO seeks help identifying suspect in Valentine’s Day holdup in CountrySide.

A man walked into the Bank of America at the Regal Plaza shopping center in CountrySide shortly after 11 a.m. today, handed a teller a note and fled with an undisclosed amount of money, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office reported early Thursday afternoon. Investigators are now on the scene in Sterling, where the suspect – described as a 6-foot black man with a goatee, wearing sunglasses and a black and gray hat bearing the number 686 – implied to the teller that he possessed a weapon. It's not clear if the suspect was in fact armed. Witnesses said the man also wore a heavy black jacket and a black shirt during the holdup. Gang Member Sentenced for Loudoun Robberies

Judge gives man 15 years for involvement in robberies in Ashburn and Sterling.

Loudoun County Circuit Court Judge Thomas D. Horne on Monday sentenced Cesar Augusto Pisconte Jr., 21, to 15 years in prison for four felonies related to robberies in Ashburn and Sterling. The felonies include two counts of robbery, criminal street gang participation and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Pisconte, a member of the 18th Street gang, confessed to participating in both robberies as part of gang “missions.”  “Gang activity will not be tolerated in our community,” said Commonwealth’s Attorney Jim Plowman. “If you choose to associate with gangs and participate in violent crimes such as these, you should be prepared to pay a steep price.” The first incident occurred Dec. 24, 2011, when Pisconte and gang members …

Leesburg Man Convicted in IHOP Bathroom Robbery

A Loudoun jury sentenced the man to 10 years in prison; final sentencing is set for Aug. 6.

A Loudoun County jury this week sentenced a 30-year-old Leesburg man to 10 years in prison after he was convicted on charges related to a Dec. 17 bathroom robbery at IHOP. Antonio O’Keith Dodson, 30, will have his final sentencing Aug. 6. The conviction relates to an incident at the Leesburg IHOP restaurant that started with an argument. Dodson followed a customer into the men’s room, pinned him against a wall, struck him across the face and ordered the victim to turn over his valuables, according to the Loudoun Commonwealth Attorney’s Office. The victim, concerned for his safety, turned over a cell phone, a wallet, and car keys. Dodson left men’s room and returned to his table to finish his meal. LCSO Continues Investigation Regarding ‘Home Invasion’ in Sterling

Four suspects reportedly were involved, two with firearms, two with baseball bats.

Four armed people entered a home on the 21000 block of Gladstone Drive in Sterling through an unlocked basement door and demanded cash from a 32-year-old occupant late Thursday, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. In what the LCSO called a “home invasion-style” robbery, two of the four suspects carried guns, while the other two carried baseball bats. All four suspects wore dark hoodies and had their faces covered. After reportedly obtaining a small amount of cash, the suspects fled without injuring the victim. The victim’s roommates, who were upstairs at the time of the robbery, according to the LCSO report on the incident called deputies afterward. Leesburg Police Search for Suspect

An identified man obtained over $900 after robbing a local Safeway.

The Leesburg Police Department is seeking information regarding the identity of a man who is wanted for questioning regarding a theft at Safeway on Feb. 29. The subject jumped over the counter and obtained $984 in cash and merchandise. Investigators Release Composite Sketch of Robbery Suspect

Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have released a composite sketch of a suspect in a reported armed robbery that occurred Feb. 6 in the parking lot of the Dulles Town Center.                      Around 6:28 a.m. Loudoun Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 21100 block of the Dulles Town Circle in Sterling for a reported brandishing of a firearm. After interviewing the victim, it was determined the incident was an attempted armed robbery.                      During the incident two unknown males approached the victim in an older model dark colored Chevrolet pick-up with a possible right broken taillight. Morning Robbery at Sterling BB&T Under Investigation

Investigators are seeking any information about the incident or the suspect.

Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office investigators are currently at the scene of a reported armed bank robbery at the BB & T Bank on the 20900 block of Davenport Drive in Sterling, Virginia. According to an LCSO press release, a black male entered the bank around 9:45 a.m. wearing a mask and using an umbrella to conceal his identity. The suspect reportedly wore a black sweatshirt, dark-colored jeans and white tennis shoes with a red stripe. The suspect fled the bank on foot in the direction of Route 7. Deputies are currently canvassing the area and interviewing witnesses.
