Inc. Magazine Places Three Leesburg Entities Among 500 Fastest-Growing U.S. Businesses

Three Leesburg businesses – Knight Solutions, FCi Federal and Paramount Business Jets – recently were included in the top 500 of Inc. Magazine’s 2013 list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the United States.

“These great businesses truly illustrate why Leesburg is a great place to grow a business as well as a family,” said Marantha Edwards, Leesburg’s Economic Development Director, in a press release. “We have worked hard to foster an entrepreneur-friendly business culture here in Leesburg. The phenomenal growth of Knight Solutions, FCi Federal and Paramount Business Jets shows that we are being successful with those efforts.” 

Knight Solutions, a veteran-owned general contractor that specializes in renovating cemeteries for veterans, has grown 1,472 percent during the past three years, with 2012 revenues of $16.3 million and 150 employees. The company was No. 296 the Inc. list. Owner Kevin Knight received the Leesburg Economic Development Commission’s first Veterans Affairs Award during the 2012 Leesburg Business Awards. FCi Federal, a federal contractor founded in 1992, provides operations management and professional services to a variety of government agencies, including law enforcement and immigration. It’s 1,218 percent growth during the past three years, with more than 1,300 employees in 38 states, earned FCi Federal the No. 361 on the Inc. list.
