Man’s Best Friend Becomes Workout Buddy at Leesburg Boot Camp

Walking Wetnoses offers fitness training catered to those who want to get themselves and their dogs in shape.

Workout buddies can be great motivators for those looking to get fit. A Leesburg business is now encouraging a slight twist on the workout buddy: bring your dog.

Walking Wetnoses has launched The Dog & Me Boot Camp in partnership with Loudoun’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services. Classes will be held at The Fields behind the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center.

“Many pet owners are looking for ways to spend more time with their dogs to better their relationship, along with make them a better pet for the family,” said Walking Wetnoses owner Tina Pavone. “They are also looking for ways to add fitness, or increase their current fitness, into their own personal lives as well as their pet’s lives.”
