Leesburg Police ID Man Killed in Morning Crash
The police department continues to seek witnesses to the accident along Catoctin Circle.
The Leesburg Police Department has identified the man who died in this morning crash along Catoctin Circle in town as Joseph M. Watson, 34.
Watson was driving a silver 2003 Infiniti G35 eastbound along the 30 block of Catoctin Circle SE when the vehicle cross into westbound traffic and collided with a 2002 Ford E-350 van, according to the latest police report on the incident.
Watson died at the scene. The van’s driver was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators hoping to learn more about what happened are asking witnesses to contact Master Police Officer Bill Wolff at 703-771-4500. Police also are awaiting information from the Medical Examiner’s Office in Manassas.
